1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
-
Optional add-ins:
-
Cooked sausage crumbles

Diced bell peppers
-
Jalapeños for heat

Instructions
1. Prep the Dough
-
Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12×8-inch rectangle.

Cut into 24 equal squares (about 2×2 inches each).
2. Stuff & Assemble
-
Place 1 piece of string cheese and 2 mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough square.
-
Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly (like a mini calzone).
3. Bake to Perfection
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Arrange bites seam-side down on the tray. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder + Italian seasoning.
-
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
4. Serve & Enjoy!
-
Let cool slightly (cheese will be molten hot!). Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips for Success
-
Extra crispy? Spray bites with cooking spray before baking.
-
Make ahead: Assemble unbaked bites, freeze on a tray, then transfer to a bag. Bake from frozen (+3-5 mins).
-
Air fryer method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6-8 mins, shaking halfway.
