Watermelon Fries with Coconut Lime Dip 🍉🍟

(A refreshing, sweet & tangy snack—perfect for summer!)

These fun “fries” are juicy, lightly spiced, and paired with a creamy tropical dip. Gluten-free, vegan, and ready in 10 minutes!

Ingredients

For the Watermelon Fries:

  • 1 small seedless watermelon (rind removed, cut into ½-inch thick “fry” sticks)

  • 2 tsp Tajín seasoning (or mix chili powder + lime zest + salt)

For the Coconut Lime Dip:

  • 1 cup coconut yogurt (or Greek yogurt for extra protein)

  • Zest + juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (or honey/maple syrup)

  • Pinch of salt

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Toasted coconut flakes

Instructions

1. Prep the Watermelon Fries

  1. Slice watermelon into long, fry-shaped sticks (about 3-4 inches long).

  2. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture (helps Tajín stick better).

  3. Sprinkle with Tajín seasoning just before serving (so they stay crisp).

2. Make the Dip

  • In a bowl, whisk together coconut yogurt, lime zest, lime juice, coconut sugar, and salt until smooth.

  • Taste and adjust sweetness/tanginess as needed.

3. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Arrange fries on a platter with dip in the center.

  • Garnish with mint or coconut flakes for extra flair.

🔥 Pro Tips

✅ Extra crunch? Chill watermelon sticks for 30 mins before serving.
✅ Spice lovers can add a dash of cayenne to the Tajín.
✅ Make ahead: Prep dip up to 1 day in advance.
