Ingredients
For the Fish:

4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock, or halibut)

1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)

Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

3 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

Juice of 1 lemon (~3 tbsp)

1 tsp lemon zest
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp capers (optional, for tang)

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
1️⃣ Season & Sear the Fish

Pat fish dry with paper towels.

Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub evenly over fillets.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook fish for 3-4 mins per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in lemon juice, zest, parsley, capers (if using), and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1 minute.
3️⃣ Finish & Serve

Return fish to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Heat for 1 more minute.
