Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (low in points)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour or oat flour (or any other low-calorie flour you prefer)
  • 1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (Stevia, erythritol, or any other sweetener that works for your plan)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon of mini chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips (if you’re okay with adding a few points)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mug: Spray a microwave-safe mug (about 12 oz size) with a little non-stick spray to make sure your cake doesn’t stick.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In the mug, whisk together the applesauce, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sweetener until smooth.
