Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced

- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
- 1/2 cup canned corn (optional)
- 1/2 cup black beans, rinsed and drained (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare Vegetables:
- Dice the tomatoes and finely chop the red onion, jalapeño peppers, and cilantro.
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, minced garlic, and chopped jalapeños.
- Add the fresh cilantro, lime juice, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. If using, add the canned corn and black beans.
