Instructions

  1. Make the Avocado Mousse:

  3. Prepare the Topping:

  4. Assemble the Mousse:
    • Pipe or spoon the avocado mousse into serving glasses, small bowls, or ramekins.
    • Top each portion with the smoked salmon mixture.
  5. Garnish & Serve:
    • Add a sprinkle of cracked black pepper and garnish with pomegranate seeds, radishes, or microgreens for a festive presentation.

Tips for Success

  • Avocado Quality: Use ripe but firm avocados for a creamy mousse. Overripe avocados can affect the flavor.
  • Serving Ideas: Serve with crackers, crostini, or toasted bread for added texture.
  • Make Ahead: The mousse can be made a few hours ahead and stored in the fridge. Add the toppings just before serving to keep them fresh.

This luxurious appetizer is as beautiful as it is delicious, making it a perfect addition to your Christmas menu. Enjoy!
