🍤 Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp juice)
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp honey (or sugar)
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate: In a bowl, mix shrimp with olive oil, garlic, lime zest/juice, cilantro, honey, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Let sit 10 mins (or up to 30 mins in the fridge).
2️⃣ Cook: Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add shrimp in a single layer (reserve marinade). Cook 2-3 mins per side until pink and opaque.
3️⃣ Finish: Pour reserved marinade over shrimp and simmer 1 min to thicken slightly.
