🔥 Crispy Homemade Pita Chips (Better Than Store-Bought!)

Only 3 ingredients + 10 minutes for perfectly crunchy, golden pita chips—ideal for dipping, snacking, or charcuterie boards!


🍞 Ingredients

  • 4 pita bread rounds (white, whole wheat, or gluten-free)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Optional seasonings:
    • Garlic powder, paprika, za’atar, or everything bagel seasoning

👩🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Pitas

  • Cut each pita into 8 wedges (like a pizza).
  • Separate the layers (if your pita is pocket-style) for extra crispiness.

2️⃣ Season

  • Brush both sides with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt + desired seasonings.

3️⃣ Bake or Air Fry

  • Oven:
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 mins, flipping halfway, until golden.
  • Air Fryer:
    • Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 4-5 mins, shaking once.

4️⃣ Cool & Serve

  • Let cool 5 mins (they crisp up more!).
  • Pair with:
    • Hummus, tzatziki, guacamole, or spinach-artichoke dip.
