Magazine Racks

A well-placed magazine rack can make all the difference around the kitchen! This hack is so easy and versatile, you can use it pretty much anywhere in the kitchen. Create some extra shelves in the fridge by taking two magazine racks and turning them on their side. Store fruits and veggies more efficiently with the use of some wire magazine racks. You can even organize cleaning supplies under the sink better with magazine racks.

Command Hooks

You may have used these stick-on hooks for car keys, hanging towels, or even hanging a whiteboard, but did you know you can use them around the kitchen for so many other things? For example, when storing pots with lids, it can take up a lot of space to store each pot with the matching lid. Instead, save space by stacking the pots inside each other from largest to smallest, and then use command hooks to create custom spots for the lids on the inside of the cupboard door! Another genius use of these command hooks is to place one on either side of your garbage can and loop the garbage bag over the hooks. This way, the bag will never fall down into the can! You can also put hooks up on the inside of the door under the sink and hang up your garbage can to keep it handy and save some space.

Pegboard Storage

Isn’t this a brilliant idea? Usually, when we think of pegboards we think of garage storage or hardware shop storage, but this actually works really well for kitchen storage as well! Plus, by painting the pegboard the same color as the wall, it really blends in. The best part about this DIY is that it’s totally customizable depending on the different hooks you put up. Add a few shelves, hang up the pots and pans, add a splash of color with some art or a bowl of fruit. The sky is the limit!

Fridge Storage Ideas

Your fridge takes up a huge amount of space in your kitchen, so it’s important to not only keep the inside organized, but find ways to utilize the outside of the fridge as well! With these two fridge storage ideas, you can be sure you’re making the most of the space available to you. By using a magnetic towel rod, you can hang up hand towels or dish towels for easy access. You can also add a folding shelf on top of your fridge and store cookbooks, Tupperware, or other kitchen necessities up there!
