Lemon Garlic Lobster Tails

Ingredients:

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
    • Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of each lobster tail shell lengthwise down the middle, stopping just before the tail fin.
    • Gently pull the shell apart and use your fingers to lift the lobster meat slightly, so it sits on top of the shell.
  3. Make the Lemon Garlic Butter:
    • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush and Bake:
    • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush the lemon garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the lobster tails. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a bit of heat.
  • Serve with drawn butter, a fresh salad, or garlic bread for a complete meal.
