Instructions:

  1. Cook the sausage:

  5. Add the broth:
    • Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld together and the broth reduce slightly.
  6. Combine the sausage:
    • Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, stirring to mix everything together. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Add cheese:
    • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.
