Southern Bourbon Cake

🍰 Ingredients
For the Cake:

For the Bourbon Glaze:

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup bourbon

¼ cup water

1. Prep & Preheat

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan (or use baking spray).
2. Make the Cake Batter

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (~5 mins).

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to the batter, mixing just until combined.

3. Bake

4. Make the Bourbon Glaze

In a saucepan, melt butter, sugar, bourbon, and water over medium heat.
