Friendship Spaghetti Pie
A comforting, shareable dish that’s perfect for potlucks or feeding a crowd—layered with spaghetti, cheese, and savory fillings!
Ingredients
(Serves 6–8)
Crust:

8 oz spaghetti (about ½ standard box)

2 large eggs, beaten

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp garlic powder
-
Salt & pepper to taste
Filling:

1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
-
½ cup onion, diced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (or 2½ cups homemade)

1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 cup ricotta cheese
-
1½ cups shredded mozzarella, divided
-
½ cup shredded provolone (or more mozzarella)

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prep the Spaghetti Crust:

Cook spaghetti al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

In a large bowl, toss spaghetti with eggs, Parmesan, butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Press into a greased 9-inch deep-dish pie plate or springform pan, forming a “crust” up the sides.
2. Make the Filling:

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic; drain fat. Stir in marinara and oregano. Simmer 5 mins.

In a separate bowl, mix ricotta with ½ cup mozzarella.
3. Layer & Bake:

Spread ricotta mixture over spaghetti crust.

Top with meat sauce, then sprinkle remaining mozzarella and provolone on top.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 mins until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let rest 10 mins before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs.
